There are two beliefs we hold at Westfork Construction: great Sedona architecture is site specific and the best homes aren’t pseudo Sante Fe adobe knockoffs. Our apologies if we step on anybody’s toes. While we don’t generally involve ourselves in the design of the homes we build, preferring to leave that to the fine architects we’ve worked with, this home is an exception. Owned by Randy and Kelli Morris, the 5,580 SF creek side, four bedroom home is perfectly positioned to capture the sights, sounds, and fragrance of Oak Creek, one of Arizona’s few year round flowing streams. Designed with a nod to the classic vintage architecture of the Verde Valley, the farmhouse look feels just right. Rusting, corrugated metal roofing, board and batten siding, and river rock veneers capture what original Sedona homes were all about. French doors positioned at bedrooms, kitchen, and great room all open to a generous shaded porch exposed to the creek. If you happen to stop by the next time you’re in town, you’ll likely find Randy down at the creek enjoying a cigar and a good glass of wine. He’ll probably invite you to join him.
